After playing through Insomniac Games' Spider-Man 2, I wanted to explore how I would design a mission arc for a potential 3rd game in the series which would build upon the narrative threads established at the end of the 2nd game.
I started by studying the design of various missions in Spider-Man 2. Then I started writing this pitch doc, focusing on finding ways to tie in existing narrative foreshadowing and establishing broad gameplay beats. Finally, I reached out to one of Spider-Man 2's designers to receive feedback on how to improve my documentation process.
